For clinics
Skeepers can pay any clinic in Nigeria with Skeepy Pay, at the clinic's full price. In return we ask one thing above all: charge Skeepers what you charge everyone.
1How you are paid
When a Skeeper pays you with Skeepy Pay, what their plan covers goes into your clinic's business bank account, usually within minutes; anything it does not cover, the Skeeper pays you directly. The account must be in the clinic's registered name; Skeepy Pay does not pay personal accounts.
Skeepy Pay pays only clinics with physical premises that give a written receipt for every payment. It cannot pay a mobile vet, one who has no clinic premises of their own, unless it is one of Skeepy's Recommended Clinics.
2Your clinic account
Every clinic a Skeeper pays has a Skeepy clinic account, holding its payments and its services with the prices Skeepers were charged. The clinic can claim it with its email address at any time.
3What we expect
- The same price for Skeepers as for everyone else, for the same care.
- A genuine, itemised bill for care actually given, to the pet actually seen.
- No arrangements with Skeepers to inflate bills or share payments.
- Courtesy to Skeepers and to Skeepy's vets.
4Our right to check
Skeepy may check any payment to your clinic, before or after it is made, and may ask for your records of the visit.
5When a clinic is removed
A clinic that inflates bills, bills for care not given, or works with a Skeeper to defraud the plan can no longer be paid with Skeepy Pay and is no longer shown to Skeepers. We recover what was paid, and we may report it to the police and to the Veterinary Council of Nigeria.
6Recommended Clinics and partnership
Partner clinics are listed as Skeepy's Recommended Clinics and use VetNode, under a written agreement with Skeepy; where that agreement and this page differ, the agreement applies. Skeepy decides which clinics it recommends, and may stop recommending a clinic at any time.
This policy explains part of the Terms and Conditions. Where they differ, the Terms apply.
