A health plan for your dog or cat, the way an HMO works for people. You pay a monthly, quarterly or yearly fee, and when your pet needs a vet, you pay the clinic with Skeepy Pay and covered care comes from your plan.

Dogs and cats, of any breed. Puppies and kittens under 12 months join the Cublings Plan; pets of 12 months and over choose Furrtastic, Purrfect or Infinity.

Everywhere. You can use your plan at any vet clinic in Nigeria with its own premises and a business bank account, in any of the 36 states or the FCT.

Choose a plan, add your pet's details and photos, then pay your first month, quarter or year by card, bank transfer or USSD. It takes a few minutes, and your pet gets a Skeepy HMO ID straight away.

Each benefit has its own waiting period, counted from the day cover starts. Vet chat is available as soon as you join. Consultations and core vaccines open after 14 days; others take longer, for example deworming after 30 days. Every plan page lists the wait for each benefit.

Because some illnesses are covered only for a vaccinated pet. Parvovirus is covered only when your dog has had a DHLPP vaccine, or your cat an FVRCP vaccine, in the 13 months before the visit, on their record before the visit. Tick fever is covered only when your pet's flea and tick treatment was given in the 3 months before the visit, on their record before the visit. You add each vaccine your pet has had, with the date and where, when you join or later under Vaccinations, and Skeepy Pay opens once every core vaccine is filled in.

So Skeepy knows the pet being treated is the pet on the plan. Every pet has a profile photo, and before you first use Skeepy Pay you add clear photos of its face, both sides, front and back. At each visit you take one more with Skeepy Camera in your dashboard: it shows when and where it was taken, and it is checked against the profile photo.

Yes. You can pay any clinic in Nigeria with Skeepy Pay, as long as it has a business bank account in the clinic's registered name. The vet doesn't need to sign up with Skeepy. It must be a clinic with its own premises that gives a receipt: Skeepy Pay cannot pay a mobile vet, unless it is one of Skeepy's Recommended Clinics, or a clinic that does not issue receipts.

With Skeepy Pay, in your dashboard. Choose the clinic, or add it with its registered name, city, state and business bank account; pick the services and enter the prices. Each line shows whether your plan covers it. Then pay.

No. You pay the clinic with Skeepy Pay, from your phone, at the desk. There are no claim forms and nothing to wait for.

At once. A Skeepy Pay payment lands in the clinic's account the way a bank transfer does, weekends included. Surgery and other high-cost treatment are approved by a Skeepy vet first.

Skeepy Pay only pays business accounts in the clinic's registered name. It protects you, the clinic and every other Skeeper from payments going to the wrong person.

You see it before you pay: each line shows what your plan covers. Skeepy Pay pays the covered part from your plan, and you pay the clinic the rest yourself.

Skeepy Pay covers what clinics across Nigeria usually charge for each service. If a price is well above that, Skeepy Pay tells you before you pay, so you can check it with the clinic.

Surgery and other high-cost treatment are reviewed before treatment starts. You send the clinic's plan, with photos and the quote; a Skeepy vet approves it, usually within 15 to 30 minutes, and then you pay the clinic with Skeepy Pay in the same way.

Yes. Skeepy Pay works at any hour, every day of the week.

Each pet is 15% off for two pets, 20% for three, and 25% for four or more. Two pets on Furrtastic come to ₦27,200 a month, saving ₦4,800.

Yes, you can upgrade at any time from your dashboard or by messaging us.

Your cover lapses, and waiting periods start again when you renew: every benefit waits at least 30 days, and benefits with longer waits wait their full period again. Renewing on time keeps your cover running.

Yes, at any time. Your cover stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you are new, you can cancel within 48 hours of joining for a full refund, as long as you have not used any Skeepy service in that time.

Consultations, vaccines, deworming, flea and tick treatment, tests, illness treatment, emergencies and surgery, with grooming, boarding, pet sitting, dental cleaning and more on the higher plans. The full list shows every service and how many of each.

Yes. On Purrfect and Infinity, prescribed medicines, medicines for a chronic condition and supplements each have their own yearly limit. On Cublings and Furrtastic, medicines come out of the illness limit.

Yes, on every plan. Cublings has a ₦60,000 pool for 2 emergencies a year; Furrtastic covers 2 at up to ₦40,000 each; Purrfect 3 at ₦60,000 each; Infinity 6 at ₦60,000 each.

Yes, up to ₦380,000 a year on Cublings, ₦400,000 on Furrtastic, ₦750,000 on Purrfect and ₦1,500,000 on Infinity. Spaying and neutering are on Cublings, Purrfect and Infinity.

Only long-term ones. If your pet had a long-term condition before joining, such as diabetes, kidney or heart disease, hip dysplasia, epilepsy or long-term skin allergies, care for it isn't covered. Illnesses your pet has had and recovered from are covered in the usual way.

Yes. Chat with a real vet from your dashboard, free on every plan, as often as you need, from the moment you join: there is no waiting period. Send photos; the advice is saved to your pet's health record.

A free register of pets in Nigeria. Your pet gets a unique ID, so anyone who finds them can look them up and contact you. You don't need a plan to register.

Both are optional. A QR pet tag is ₦20,000: anyone who finds your pet scans it to reach you. A microchip is ₦35,000, implanted by a vet and linked to your pet's National Pet Database record. Registering your pet stays free.
